Mission Statement

SAFE is committed to providing education, support and advocacy for all people in Clarion County impacted by domestic violence.

Description

SAFE was founded with the belief that all people are entitled to dignity, security, and privacy. To these ends, SAFE has adopted a plan of action which includes:

1. Direct Service to victims of domestic violence, including 24-hour hotline, counseling, shelter and other emergency services.

2. Community Education, covering the extent and causes of family violence and the assistance available to victims.

3. Systems Advocacy through ongoing contact with the criminal jusice, medical, welfare, and human service agencies.
