ArtFields is a charitable program and event sponsored by Lake City Partnership Council, which is a federally-recognized Section 501(c)(3) organization located in Lake City, South Carolina. Its mission is to improve the quality of life and promote the well-being of citizens residing within the greater Lake City area through, among other things, educational offerings and activities that foster and develop culture and arts within the community.
Lake City, Sc presents ArtFields a 10 day Southern Artfest, April 19-April 28 2013. $100,000 in cash prizes. Winners determined by votes from ArtFields attendees and a juried panel. Opportunity for a community to change lives. ArtFields celebrates the rich agriculture history of Lake City by serving as the the home field for the richest art competition in the Southeast. Event will feature live entertainment, including concerts, dancing, Southern Foods, celebrated chefs, artist workshops, a farmers market and much more. The competition will be open to artist residing in 12 southeast states Both 2-D and 3-D works will be accepted and the competition is open to emerging and established artists.
