Mission Statement

The Flagler Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals. Our primary purposes are the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals and the promoting of humane education. In fulfilling the above purposes, it is the policy of the Humane Society to provide humane care and treatment for all animals entrusted to our care; to reunite lost pets and their owners; to humanely euthanize those animals that are neither returned to their owner nor adopted; and to offer education programs for children and adults alike.

Description

The FHS provides shelter for all stray, owner relinquished or court confiscated domestic animals in Flagler County, FL and accepts owner surrenders from surrounding Counties. We provide a low cost spay neuter program to Flagler residents. Our educational programs are offered to the community free of charge. We are a non profit and receive no government funds with the exception of a small Animal Control contract with Flagler County
