Mission Statement

The mission of SPLKA is to preserve, promote, educate the public, and make our lighthouses accessible to all. Volunteers are our strength and are encouraged to play active roles in our program. Our volunteers have the opportunity to stay for a week long tour or to work as a Day Keeper. We would love to have you volunteer at one of our four lighthouses: White River Light Station, Ludington North Breakwater Light, Little Sable Point and Big Sable Point.
