Building Leaders in the Susquehanna Valley (BLSV) is a program designed for youth who are beginning to show leadership potential and an interest in their community. Its goal is to acquaint students with community needs and resources and to encourage their interest and participation as they develop leadership and communication skills and have the opportunity to interact with one another and with community leaders in the Central Pennsylvania Region.

Central PA CareerFair helps to enhance the education and career preparation of area students. By attending the Career Fair, local business leaders can support students, while educating the community about their business. There is no cost to attend this event. The Fair is offered to approximately 1500 area middle school and high school students to enhance their awareness of the careers represented in the Central PA Region. Career Speakers will also be available to speak with larger groups of students through presentations. This will allow the students to engage the speakers in a more in depth forum on their industry anJob Shadowing is an academically motivating activity designed to give 11th grade students the unique opportunity of an up-close look at the world of work and provide the answer to the commonly asked question, "Why do I have to learn this?"
