Mission Statement

The mission of the Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association is to improve the quality of life for all Nebraskans who have chronic conditions or are near the end of life and to support the various communities who care for them.

Description

As the state's hospice association, the Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association (NHPCA) works through professional education, community engagement, advocacy, and research to improve care for terminally and chronically ill Nebraskans. Established as a 501(c)3 community betterment non-profit in 1983, NHPCA includes Nebraska hospices, community end-of-life coalitions, and other health and elder-care organizations. NHPCA is a member agency of Community Health Charities of Nebraska. More information can be found at www.nehospice.org.
