Mission Statement

The mission of Off Our Backs is to provide news and information about women's lives and feminist activism; to educate the public about the status of women around the world; to serve as a forum for feminist ideas and theory; and to seek social jsutice and equality for women.

Description

Off Our Backs is a bimonthly feminist newsjournal. We have limited staff and depend heavily on volunteers for layout, graphic design, article manuscripts, editing, and other aspects of publishing the journal. We publish articles about women's news, activism, culture, analysis, commentary, and reviews of movies, books, and festivals.
