Mission Statement

The mission of the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation is to improve the quality of life for children battling pediatric brain tumors and other childhood cancers while spreading awareness about these diseases.

Description

Friends of Jaclyn is a national non profit based in New York. The Friends of Jaclyn helps children with brain tumors and other childhood cancers by pairing them up with college and highschool sports teams, clubs and community groups. Theses teams adopt the child and their family and provide them with love, support and friendship while they battle their cancer.

It is important that children with brain tumors have a solid support group. The Friends of Jaclyn organization not only provides a support group for these children, but it provides them with a team and maybe even a love for sports. This gives them another reason to live and push through each day! The bond between teams is very special and one that may be capable of saving a child in need.
