Match Education is a non-profit organization working to close the achievement gap through innovations in full-time tutoring and teacher training. We operate a growing portfolio of high-performing and innovative urban charter schools. Our schools are widely recognized for their success in preparing low-income students for success in four-year colleges. We also train teachers for urban classrooms and operate a fully sanctioned graduate school of education. We seek to train the best rookie teachers in the country and, over time, to develop new insight into the nature of effective teaching and teacher training. Finally, we provide high-dosage tutoring to each of our students through the Match Corps, a post-graduate service fellowship for individuals interested in committing a year of service to inner-city schools.
In addition to the work in our charter schools, we partner and consult with other schools and districts across the United States. Currently, we are playing a significant role in transforming two struggling high schools in Lawrence, MA.
