Since adopting a GSD from GSGSR, I was impressed by their thoroughness in vetting both the dogs and the potential adopters to make sure every dog is going to the most loving home possible. For an all volunteer organization "without a home", they do a yeoman's job and have some extremely dedicated volunteers. This is one of the most rewarding of my volunteer experiences. I may be a bit biased since I am also a volunteer with GSGSR, but I am also very discerning about where I volunteer my time.
