Through its mission of "advocating and promoting the business development of Hispanic and other small businesses," the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin (HCCW) is a bridge from idea to economic success.
Description
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin (HCCW) was incorporated in 1972 as a non-profit business organization in the heart of the Hispanic community (1021 W. National Ave). The HCCW creates, expands and diversifies small and Hispanic-owned businesses in Wisconsin with a strong focus in the Milwaukee Metro area. The HCCW provides educational and technical resources, fosters economic exchange between the business and corporate sectors, and promotes a network for political issues, community affairs and opportunities for the Hispanic population and community at large.
The HCCW's leading education program is Empowering Latinos, a one-on-one advancement program which provides the tools to help Latinos develop their English speaking skills, increasing their confidence in career and education advancement opportunities.
