The mission of Forward Ever Sustainable Business Alliance (Forward Ever) is to provide a support network for local independently owned businesses and social entrepreneurs that facilitates cooperative promotion and purchasing, rebuilds local supply chains and food systems, and leads to buy local initiatives, sustainable communities, job creation, and income for local, independently owned businesses in the Greater Newark Area.

Forward Ever Sustainable Business Alliance (Forward Ever) is an affiliate network of the esteemed Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE), North America's fastest growing network of socially responsible businesses, comprised of over 80 community networks in 30 U.S. states and Canadian provinces representing over 22,000 independent business members across the U.S. and Canada.

Forward Ever will be the FIRST urban affiliate of BALLE and will glean from national best practices to serve independent locally owned businesses in the Greater Newark area to support the development of a sustainable local economy through innovation in entrepreneurship and social ventures.

Our vision is to create dynamic collaborations that expand economic self-reliance, job creation and a sustainable local economy for the Greater Newark area where local businesses thrive, are prosperous, and contribute to a healthy environment and the wealth and well-being of all citizens.
