Mission Statement

The Scripps Ranch High School Foundation (SRHSF) is the primary fundraising and volunteer service organization for Scripps Ranch High School. Our goal is to provide funding in the areas of academics, athletics, extracurricular programs and facilities, which in turn allows the Scripps Ranch High School (SRHS) staff to provide enhanced learning opportunities for all of our students.

Description

Scripps Ranch High School (SRHS) was opened in the fall 1993 as one of 18 high schools in the San Diego City School District. It is one of two high schools in the Mira Mesa / Scripps Ranch areas of San Diego, which are very involved communities and place great value on strong academic standards. The school?s enrollment is approximately 2,300 students with an integrated enrollment of approximately: White 52%, Hispanic 13%, African American 9%, Indochinese 8%, Asian 8%, Filipino 8%. The school has a Voluntary Ethnic Enrollment Program (VEEP) population of approximately 380 students, 16% of the enrollees. These students, although living in other communities, are provided transportation to attend SRHS. Additionally, 17% of the students qualify for special education classes and support.
