Mission Statement

Second Chance Wildlife Sanctuary houses and cares for all exotic and abandoned wildlife that for whatever reason cannot be released into the wild. Native wildlife is rehabilitated and released into their natural habitat. Exotic wildlife cannot be released as they would affect the ecosystem and are kept at the Sanctuary.

Description

The Sanctuary is located on the Big Econolockahatchee River on 3.2 acres of pristine land and at any time houses between 150 to 200 animals. It has been operating for 28 years as a private sanctuary, but in 2012 became a 501(c)(3).
