The mission is three-fold: Education, Collaboration, and Advocacy. All of GATE’s activities are created to further these intentions. GATE is committed to supporting content creators whose messages honor life, love, and peace.

By supporting GATE, you can play a critical part in furthering this new media paradigm that not only entertains and informs the world but can also transform it.
Description
On June 4 th, 2009, GATE was formally inaugurated at the Zanuck Theater on the Fox Studios lot in Los Angeles at an evening hosted by GATE founder/chairman John Raatz with co-founders actor/activist Jim Carrey and author/spiritual leader Eckhart Tolle. Interest was unprecedented.
Since the initial gathering, GATE has increased it efforts to create awareness and distribution of entertainment that produces interpersonal, communal, social and, ultimately, global transformation.Among GATE's program and activites are the following:
Story Conference - February 2, 2013 Aday-long working session focused on transformational storytelling and the transformational arc for authors, screenwriters, producers, directors or anyone interested in the power of story to create personal, social and global transformation.
Story Can Change the World Planned workshops for underserved high school students to expose them to works that make a meaningful and purposeful contribution to the world. The workshop will also teach students how to write stories that have a transformational arc.
Theater Within A monthly film series presentingmovies and documentaries -- independent, commercial or classic -- which entertain, have a transformational arc and resonate with the GATE mission.
No Matter Where You Are A proposed prison program to expose inmates to movies and documentaries -- independent, commercial or classic - which have a transformational arc and contain a positive message.
Inside Entertainment: Conversations with the Hearts of Hollywood A monthly conversation moderated by GATE founder John Raatz with a panel of entertainment industry professionals who have been instrumental in creating media that has a transformational message.
