Mission Statement

The Inner-City Teaching Corps (ICTC) is an education non-profit whose mission is to transform education in underserved communities and to empower children in urban schools through innovative people and programs.

Description

The Inner-City Teaching Corps (ICTC) recruits, supports, and develops dedicated, inspired education leaders to serve in inner-city classrooms and school settings. Alumni of our programs can be found in classes across the country, heading schools, and working in education policy. The UNITE program, which develops transitioning professionals into classroom leaders, numbers attorneys, public relations specialists, and a professional actor among its midst.

ICTC partners with other education, service, and non-profit organizations, corporations, social service agencies, the Archdiocese of Chicago, and Chicago Public Schools in providing innovative educational programs.
