Mission Statement

The Mission of Catholic Charities is to repond to the needs of the poor and vulnerable among us. We are committed to empowering individuals and families in our community and beyond with the goal of fostering independence.

Description

The Money Mangement Program matches clients with volunteer bill payers and volunteer representative payees. Bill payers assist clients in budgeting their monthly expenses, check writing and bank reconciliation; they do not have signature authority. Catholic Charities is designated as Representative Payee by the Social Security Administration to manage a client's benefits. The volunteer will assist with setting up a budget for the client's expenses, check writing and bank reconciliation.
