Mission Statement

CHIP shall mobilize, advocate, and empower community collaboration towards the elimination of homelessness and foster and effective system of homeless prevention and intervention in the greater Indianapolis area.

Description

CHIP is not a provider of services to homeless and near-homeless persons. Rather, it is a focal point and a resource for service providers. As the lead entity for implementing the Blueprint to End Homelessness, our responsibilities include: resource development on behalf of priority projects; community education; capacity building and technical assistance; and, fostering coordinated service delivery and systems integration.
