Description

Cell phone recycling is crucial to the reduction of e-waste that is often taken to third-world countries to be disposed of in ways hazardous to citizens of these countries. Approximately one-percent of the 130 million cell phones retired annually are refurbished or recycled for further use of supplies. Because of this, cell phone recycling is not only a valuable fund-raising opportunity for charitable organizations, such as Fos International, it is crucial for the reduction of e-waste that is destroying our environment.
