Mission Statement

The Lakeview Polar Bear Club’s goal is to help hardworking families who are struggling financially due to unfortunate and unanticipated circumstances such as medical conditions, accidents, and homelessness. The Lakeview Polar Bear Club extends a helping hand to families who may have nowhere else to turn for support.

Description

The Lakeview Polar Bear Club hosts an annual Polar Plunge in late January to raise funds for families dealing with crises. This is an event run entirely by volunteers and 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to local families in need.

this is an organization that gives 100% to it's recipients. they help INDIVIDUAL families, rather than large groups, so you know where your money is going, so rather than paying salaries of office staff, all the money goes to the families they raise money for. That is a real selling point for me. Looking forward to this years event on January 24, 2015 at oak st beach
