In addition we seek to educate the public about the importance of local agriculture, sustainable business and the impact we have on the environment. Bringing people together at the Farmers Market helps promote a greater sense of community, serves as an educational forum, and helps encourage local business development.

Description

The Proctor Farmers Market’s primary purpose shall be:

1. To support and encourage local farmers by providing a venue in our urban community for direct marketing of fresh produce and farm grown products.

2. To be an educational resource to the public highlighting the importance of local agriculture, sustainable business and our impact on the environment.

3. To build community and collaborate with businesses, the neighborhood, and the greater community that the market serves.
