Mission Statement

First Covenant is a community first. It's a spiritually-focused gathering of imperfect people. It's a people who seek to live their lives like Jesus Christ. We're about continuing Jesus' work of gathering, connecting, and sending people out for neighbors good and God's glory. You don't need to be a follower of Jesus to come here. Whoever you are, you are welcome. If you are new to faith...if you are unsure...if you have been hurt...you're welcome. Community--as Jesus showed--is a place where all are welcomed in.

Description

On January 9th, 2013, we are launching a community meal every Wednesday from 10am-12pm to serve our hungry neighbors. We will be offering a sit-down, hot breakfast, to go lunch, and an opportunity to come out of the cold for a few hours. We anticipate feeding 100+ guests each Wednesday and we need your help! We are affectionately referring to our meal as "Wednesdays at The Cove"...a sheltered nook, a resting place for our hungry, houseless neighbors! We are looking for volunteers to do a variety of tasks such as- greet, serve food, assist in the kitchen, make coffee- smiles required! :-)
