The mission of Ability Resources is to assist people with disabilities in attaining and maintaining their personal independence through advocacy, education and service.

Description

Ability Resources is a non-residential center for independent living. Our services include information and referral, case management under the Medicaid Home and Community Based Waiver, transportation assistance for individuals over 60, technical assistance on aspects of the Americans with Disabilities Act, peer counseling, emergency intervention, nursing facility transition back to the community, benefits and long-term care planning and multicultural outreach. We work with individuals with disabilities, their familes and health professionals.
