In this day and age of escalating exotic animal regulation and financial insecurity more and more people are having to seek permanent qualified homes for their long term captive exotic pets.

Thru educational programs we will strive to convey the uniqueness of the reptile kingdom while at the same time providing a sanctuary for the animals.

International Reptile Rescue, formerly Hart's Reptile World, is the oldest Reptile Rescue in North America.

We do one group of animals and do it well. Along with taking in unwanted "pet" reptiles, we're noted for taking in the "non pet" reptiles like crocodilians, monitors, large constrictors, etc.

We seek qualified permanent placements or facilitate the animal to a facility that has the qualifications and can accommodate it.
