Honor Vitae’s vision is to provide an environment in which children are educated, cherished and loved. To that end, our mission is to collaborate with other non-profit sectors that involve engaging educational and cultural enrichment of communities around the world as well as fighting against hunger and injustice.
Honor Vitae helps children worldwide, especially children in conflict zones, by creating and extending their educational opportunities. As a new organization (founded in 2010), it is not always possible to reach out and help every part of the world. Yet, through partnerships with charities in other parts of the world, we can utilize their services to carry out our programs and projects under our staff supervision.
Honor Vitae was founded by Mariam Kinkladze and Salome Begeladze in 2010. We announced our first ambassador, Ani Amiridze , in 2012. We primarily work with children from low-income families and orphanages, and especially children in conflict zones, providing them with clothing, school supplies and other humanitarian assistance. So far we have taken patronage of 300 children -- 50 in Georgia and 250 in Ethiopia. At Honor Vitae, we believe that the best investment is the investment in every child’s education.
