Description

The Titan Missile Museum is the lone Titan II missile site still fully intact. One of 54 that were put on alert in 1963, this remaining vestige of the Cold War was decommissioned by order of President Reagan in 1981 and transformed into a museum five years later. Today, the Museum gives visitors the opportunity to see this massive warhead firsthand, as well as the labyrinth of underground facilities that adjoin it.
