African Dance Works

Description

African Dance Works is a cultural-arts recreation provider. Through workshops, panel discussions, and educational materials, ADW provides resources on African dance and associated art forms (e.g., adornment, storytelling, drumming and folklore) for youth, families, artists, and the general community. Traditional African dance commemorated community and major life events, reinforcing familial piety as well as community health and pride. African Dance Works is committed to promoting healthy communities through cultural enrichment, character development, and physical fitness.
