Mission Statement

Winfield Arts and Humanities Council is devoted to enriching the diverse cultural life of Winfield and the Walnut Valley area by providing opportunities, supporting the richness and variety of the arts, and promoting the works and performances of artists to all citizens.

Description

We are a diverse Arts Council with several programs and annual activites. One of our strongest programs is "Art in Education". A partnership with our community school district. We also have youth & adult classes, workshops, special events, art galleries, and much more. We are known for our annual Art in the Park art festival. It began in 1974, and has grown ever since. It is a juried art show held the first Saturday in October, featuring over 80 exhibitors, food vendors, live entertainment, and more. These are only a few of the activities and programs we offer.
