Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.
To prevent bullying, violence, and suicide among youth, families and communities through direct service, mentoring and prevention education.
NVEEE is a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in October 2009. We are a diverse team of professional educators, business leaders, parents and students who took our concerns about student safety and well-being and put our passion into action-moving from bystanders to community leaders. In our first two years alone, NVEEE has presented to over 6,000 participants in schools, medical centers, universities, social service agencies, and religious communities. Headquartered in Ft. Lauderdale, we directly impact the South Florida community, and now our work is also expanding to communities in California, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington, DC and Puerto Rico.
