Description
The Human Resources Agency of New Britain, Inc. (HRA) was founded in 1964 to help families escape the cycle of poverty out of the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964. HRA administers over 30 effective, community-based programs and services that reach more than 15,000 people each year. HRAĆ¢ s programs serve a wide variety of people ranging from preschool-aged children from low-income families to Hispanic senior citizens, people of diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds as well as people confronting a one-time crisis or ongoing, complex life situations.
