Our Mission is to strengthen the family unit of at-risk families in low-income communities while meeting their social, physical, and academic needs

Description

Fans 4 L.I.F.E., Inc. (Low Income Families Excel) is a new non-profit organization, which accepts donations of paraphernalia from athletic teams and auctions them off to the fans. The proceeds from the auction are used to build resources for at risk families in low-income communities. The resources will be based on the unique needs of the communities in Detroit, MI. Resources will be in the form of programs, seminars, workshops, and classes to build both the individual and family unit.

Our pilot program, School Based Mentoring, will be implemented in the beginning of the 2013-2014 School Year.
