CVS Highlander School

Mission Statement

Highlander offers students highly personalized and rigorous academics in a real world context and empowers students to pursue their talents and passions by developing and implementing multi-disciplinary projects. The school brings the community into the classroom and uses the community as a classroom. Students do not receive grades. Instead they get quarterly narrative reports which reflect the progress each student has made on their learning goals. These goals are developed, updated, and revised by students, teachers, families, and mentors.
