Mission Statement
DCTAfrica provides villages in Malawi with the things they need to thrive in the world, and overcome the abject poverty that people are struggling with everyday. By providing educational supplies and scholarships, we give help to children and allow them to continue elementary and secondary education. Unlike other relief organizations, we work hand-in-hand with communities, creating and fostering recreational programs, promoting job development, and helping to meet medical needs by directly connecting an individual from our adopted African villages with you, an individual from our community.

Job Development: DCTA trains underprivileged individuals for jobs and offers business consulting to struggling companies. By further making a college education available for impoverished students, DCTA is creating new professionals every day.
Medical: Healthcare in Malawi is nearly non-existent. DCTA established two modern clinics, and has volunteers sharing extensive HIV education throughout the region. We also operate Mother and Baby classes, which extend previously unavailable, needed advice and care.
Education: Teaching is a profession sorely needed in Malawi. Fostering education within individual communities, DCTA has built three pre-schools and an educational center which trains teachers. For older children, DCTA offers over fifty scholarships and contributes to college tuitions. Our teacher volunteers are deeply passionate about the work they are doing and know exactly how to teach kids so they begin life in the right direction.
Recreation: DCTA designs and introduces intramural sports programs, encouraging student morale and enhancing physical health.
DCTA organizes itself on the unique philosophy of "direct-connection" where 100% of donations are handed down directly to communities in need. Our organization is entirely volunteer-based, and thus operates under no overhead. Our success is defined by the seriousness with which we take to our goals. Though founded in 2007, we are glad to be one of the fastest growing relief organizations in the world!
