The mission of MPowering Kids is to enhance student learning and academic achievement of promising students, and to provide college preparation for under-served / under-privileged children.

Description

MPowering Kids is an after-school program that provides tutoring, mentoring, positive role models, and cultural enrichment activities to assist promising students in their academic career. Students from fourth through twelfth grade participate in the program which is conducted on their school campus immediately following their school day. Students move through the program from year to year for 9 full years, until they graduate from high school
