Mission Statement

The mission of Green Sports NJ is to provide training and community based employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities operating in an environmentally conscious business selling new and used sports equipment at greatly reduced prices.

Description

95% of the retail that we sell in the store is donated by organizations and individuals. The job responsibilities of each individual with a disability employed by this small business include the following: collection of donations, cleaning/refurbishment of donated items, stocking selves, facility maintenance, pricing, retail/sales, data entry, and customer service. The goal is to eventually transition the individual to position within their community.
