Mission Statement

To raise funds, awareness, and otherwise support programs to empower marginalized communities in Nepal, with a focus on women and children, through enhanced educational programs and community training to promote equality, economic well-being, and basic human rights.

Description

We are a "friends of" organization supporting local Nepalese organizations that provide programs to develop sustainability in rural Nepal, primarily supporting women and children. FVIN is volunteer run by a Board of Directors, most of whom are former volunteers with Volunteers Iniative Nepal (VIN) in Nepal. FVIN’s office is located in Maui, Hawaii.
