Mission Statement

The mission of the Community Garden Planters is to cultivate the spirit of community and enhance quality of life by creating and sustaining an organic garden of vegetables, flowers, and plants. The garden will foster environmental sustainability and stewardship, advance horticultural and nutritional education, provide a beautiful and natural retreat, and produce a healthy supplemental food source for its gardeners and the hungry.

Description

Our garden is a 1500sq.Ft lot on private land. Donated to the community just for growing food to give away to those that need it. This year was our first at this location. We grew about 800pds of food with help of the communities 273 volunteer hours in 3 months
