Alice Deal Middle School PTA

Mission Statement

Alice Deal Middle School has a 75-year tradition of academic excellence as a D.C. public school. Recent authorization as an International Baccalaureate World School has brought significant change to Deal’s traditionally strong program as it incorporates the IB Middle Years Program, an internationally recognized global approach to teaching and learning.


The Deal PTA is active organizing activities and fundraising year-round to help its students and school. Parents and volunteers come together in one mission improving the DC Public school educational system, opportunities and activities for its students at Alice Deal Middle School. This is a community mission to raise funds that will be used to support student community service activities, fund arts, music and athletics programs, supply Deal’s brand new library with much-needed books, and continue to assist in teacher training.
