Mission Statement

OUR MISSION To provide nonmedical volunteer assistance to homebound area residents who are elderly or disabled. TAIV helps fill the gap when family members or community services are absent, so that each care recipient may remain living with dignity in his/her home for as long as possible.

Description

TAIV is a non-denominational, local volunteer program serving Tomahawk, WI and the surrounding communities. We are dedicated to providing safe, confidential assistance to elderly and/or disabled area residents at no cost to the recipients.TAIV believes that everyone wants to live independently at home for as long as possible. Some would have to consider alternate housing if they did not receive the services that are provided by our Volunteers. TAIV spends many enjoyable hours visiting with clients and their families offering support and resources. TAIV is a local 501(c)(3), non-profit organization recognized by the IRS since 2007.
