Since 1975 we have been delivering medical, dental and optical care to the underserved in Mexico, Guatelmala, Peru, and Haiti; as well as hosting a major semi annual health care clinic near the Salton Sea in So. Cal.

Description

Los Medicos Voladores (The Flying Doctors) is comprised of 6 chapters - Bay Area, Gold Country, High Sierra, Reno, So. Cal, and International. We fly small aircraft into 11 pueblos in Mexico, and fly commercially to the InternatIonal chapter destinations. A standard aircrew consists of a pilot, translator, medical professional, and general volunteer. We offer free training programs to our general volunteers for both vision and dental.
