When looking for a place to serve your community there is no better place than Washington Hospital Volunteer Service. I’ve recently become a member of the Service League following a thorough screening and training process. I’ve joined a team of people that cares about patients and their families during difficult times. As newborn photographer I’m privileged to witness happy moments and I look forward to my days of service. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to serve.

The Volunteer Service League has a 50+year history of supporting the hospital and in turn, the CEO and staff are supportive of us. With at least 30 areas to choose from to help, there's something for everyone to do: to give back to the community, seek personal growth and find satisfaction. Teens work alongside retirees, learning from each other. Volunteers of differing cultures, religions & ethnicities break down barriers and become a team all with the same goal of providing care and safety for our patients and the community. I've been volunteering here for six years and see myself doing this for as long as I'm able! The people I have gotten to know have been QUALITY and a blessing!
