Women's Health Virginia

Description

Women's Health Virginia is a private, non-profit, volunteer-based organization. Unique as a non-governmental statewide women's health initiative, WHV is dedicated to improving and promoting the health and well being of Virginia women and girls through education, information, research and a statewide communications network. Its multidisciplinary approach involves medical and non-medical issues, including economic, cultural, educational, environmental and social issues. WHV takes a broad perspective concerning health problems that are usually addressed separately in treatment, education, health policy and research.
