Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
The Florida School of Addictions Studies (FSAS) was founded to help develop the professional qualifications of those working in the field of substance abuse and addiction.
Our mission is to provide CLASSROOM instruction and meaningful networking with experts, instructors and other practitioners while providing access to innovative local and national resources that support substance abuse programs.
The school is focused on providing adult professional Continuing Education (CEU) credits for individuals working in this field.
The Florida School of Addictions Studies is managed and supported by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. These individuals donate time, energy, facility, instruction, scholarships and many more resources to keep this school operational in the state of Florida.
The schools are operated 3 times per year with the annual school being held in Tampa each year in July. Other schools are held in Tallahassee and Jacksonville, Florida.
We believe classroom instruction provides the highest quality source of training in the field of addition and substance abuse. Subtle nuances cannot be achieved without a dialog, nor can an individual's special circumstances by evaluated and enhanced without personal contact with others in this field.
We rely on the generousity of our donors to help support this very valuable service to the community.
