Mission Statement

To provide quality adult literacy classes, at risk youth mentoring and family literacy programs along with a network of service providers for non native English speaking residents of Harford County.

Description

LASOS adult literacy programs include citizenship, English as a second language, financial and technology classes.

At risk youth mentoring programs include one session of pre k-12 grade academic support along with 2 secondary school sessions with academic, life skills and goal setting support.

Family literacy programs include mommy and me classes for ages 6 months-5 years. Seminars on women empowerment, nutrition, finances, and parenting skills.

Network of service providers include access to healthcare, food drives, case work for legal, educational, medical, personal needs.
