The community here is so warm and welcoming, I never felt uncomfortable. It is so diverse and you will learn so much about the world, and agriculture, plus it’s a great place to get in-tune with yourself. I don’t think I would have ever gotten another experience like this anywhere else. Sometimes the work can be hard especially in the summer, but it’s very do-able and well worth it.

Camphill Village is a magical place. It is a family style community where everyone gets the opportunity to participate and work together in the many fun activities and craft workshops. I had the greatest joy meeting new people; volunteers from all over the globe travel long distances to experience community life and service to others. My favorite memory at Camphill Village was my time spent with the villagers; sharing stories, laughing and creating lasting memories. I will always hold a special place in my heart for my Camphill family.

This place provides a good opportunity to work with people of developmental disabilities and working in various fields such as gardening, bakery, and pottery. The people that volunteer in the village are very friendly. You get to live in a nice house among villagers and co workers. It's a live/work type of environment. Would highly recommend.
