Mission Statement

The mission of Litehouse Children & Family Services, Inc. is to provide San Bernardino and Riverside County surrounding communities with quality services for at risk and underprivileged children and families, age's birth to 17 years of age. Services will also be provided for teens, including pregnant teens and teen mothers that have not met emancipation mandates to 21 years of age and have been deemed suitable for the treatment level of care provided in our foster homes. Litehouse Children & Family Services, Inc. will serve children with emotional, behavioral, medical and educational requirements who are placed from the Department of Human Services, the Department of Children and Family Services, the Department of Children Services and Child Protective Services, the Department of Mental Health, the Juvenile Courts, Probation Departments and Regional Centers. Litehouse Children & Family Services, Inc. will offer a variety of program services that conform to California Community Care Licensing regulations. Litehouse Children & Family Services, Inc. extends every effort to assure that quality care is delivered to the children in placement by recruiting, screening, and training Certified Foster Parents and staff who are committed to the agency's mission. Particular attention will be given to matching the child culturally and ethnically with a family that can best meet their needs based on the placement agency's requirements. Furthermore, in order to support children and their families, Litehouse Children & Family Services, Inc. will make every effort to successfully re-unify children with their families and/or to transition each client in foster care to guardianship, adoption, or emancipation.
