Mission Statement

Render aid & assistance to the alcoholic by providing a meeting place for Alcoholics Anonymous & AA family groups like Al-Anon. We offer AA meetings, fellowship, group events & social activities, service work, and 12-step program support in the Denver, Colorado area. York Street Club is completely separate from the Alcoholics Anonymous organization--we are a private club hosting public AA and Al-Anon meetings. Some meetings are "open" for anyone to attend, including people wishing to find out more about AA, some are "closed", meaning for those who claim AA membership.

Description

York Street was founded in 1948 by members of Denver Alcoholics Anonymous Group One, we have served the needs of alcoholics and their families in the greater Denver, Colorado metro area ever since. The Club is home to 17 distinct and seperate AA Groups and hosts over 85 meetings each week. We have several special interest groups who meet here, weekly Speaker's Meetings, monthly dances, and often schedule weekend activities. Our warm, sober atmosphere encourages interaction among members and guests during the day and evening. Reasonably priced food and beverages are also available in the York Street Club Cafe.

Our full meeting schedule is available at http://www.yorkstreetclub.com/meeting-calendar.html and our web site gives additional information.
