Mission Statement

The Mission of The Greater Wakefield Resource Center is to make a positive difference in the lives of low to moderate income citizens from the towns surrounding Union, NH, by providing a hub for citizens to access programs that can benefit them physically, socially, and in an educational way, reinforcing the value of our neighborhoods and the power of volunteering in supporting a well-connected rural community.

Description

We here at the GWRC take pride in serving the seniors in our community. Since we have three noon meals a week, there is a need for volunteers to help out in many ways. Some of the seniors that reqularly attend the meal have volunteered to help with duties such a putting together silverware and napkins, setting up tables, collecting meal donations,etc. There is also a need for kitchen help, such as washing dishes, clean-up, and food preparation. We'd like to infuse our regular volunteers with some new blood. Are you interested in joining us?
