The Volunteer Center serves as an "anchor" nonprofit connecting nonprofits, businesses and volunteers throughout the greater bay area. It's uniquely positioned... The annual 'Hat's Off' event is a fun event to volunteer for, as this is a celebration just for volunteers. The event is very well organized, well run and the volunteer duties are both fun and easy-to-do. Highly recommend. This will be my 4th year volunteering with them... (and think about volunteering at 'Board Match' in January-- that's the volunteer center's annual nonprofit board service event open to people interested in serving on a nonprofit board. There they will meet with over 100 nonprofits that have openings. Fabulous!!)
