The mission of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County is to acquire, hold and maintain lands and to restore, restock, protect and preserve such lands for the education, recreation, and pleasure of Kane County Citizens.

The Forest Preserve District of Kane County strives to create awareness about our connection to natural and cultural resources. Vounteers can contribute to our goals by volunteering in education, restoration, cultural preservation and public relations.
